Honda Generator won't start
My Honda EX 3300 won't start. I have spark, and fuel in carb. It cranks but won't fire. If I pour a small amount of fuel in carb it will fire. Why won't it start with the key?

Hi,
My 4 year old XR2-750 6 hp Honda on a pressure washer starts and runs for a few seconds with choke on then dies.  Will start up for a few seconds everytime but dies.  It dies quicker if I shut off the choke.

It has been sitting for a long time.  I put treated fuel in it prior to storage and drained the tank and put in fresh treated fuel.  It has always started before.

Whats the trick?

try takeing the needle valve out and cleaning it, might have tarnish on it and it is gumming up the flow of fuel... just make sure to count the turns going in before you take it out to clean it....
