Problems with craftsman carb

Hi All:

Ive done some repair to my craftsman mower. I replaced the spring and the rod that controls the throttle on the carb. However the spring and wire were used from available materials. Apparantly there is a fine balance between the pull from the spring and the push from the rod when managing the throttle. I cant keep the engine running now. The old wire broke. I have had it running a week ago. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Be careful on this one. The governor for the spring and throttle our factor set. You cannot guess at these settings less you will over speed the engine causing damage. Sears has online shipping and parts. Check your engine number and order the correct parts.
