Good idea. I've got hundreds of pages in my favourites, and I'd hate to lose them all. I'll be backing up mine in a second. To do this, open your windows directory and you should see a 'Favourites' folder there somewhere. Simply right-click it and choose 'Copy'. I just discovered you can also 'Export' your favourites in IE. In 'File' within IE click 'Import/Export'. It gives you the option of saving them to a text file or html file. It would be useful, but it might make restoring your lost favourites difficult if you need to in the future. The copy/paste method seems as though it would be easier. |
